Web design process
A clear process, from first call to long after launch.
Good projects are predictable. Our web design process means you always know what we're doing, what we need from you, and what comes next.
The five stages
Our web design process: five stages. No surprises.
Most project problems aren't technical. They come from unclear scope, slow feedback and surprises at the end. Our web design process is built to prevent all three: everything is agreed in writing, reviews happen at fixed points, and you always know what comes next.

How long does the web design process take?
A typical marketing website takes 2-3 weeks from kickoff to launch. Larger websites and web applications depend on scope and complexity, and we agree the timeline in writing during Discover.
How involved do I need to be?
Most involved during Discover and Design. After that, the web design process mainly needs your reviews and sign-offs.
How many design revisions do I get?
Two rounds of revisions per design stage are included. Further rounds are quoted before we start them.
What if the scope changes mid-project?
We send a written change request with its cost and timeline impact. Nothing changes until you approve it.
Do you work to fixed timelines?
Yes. We agree a written timeline during Discover, with review dates for each stage. Larger projects are planned in phases, each with its own milestones.
What happens if a review takes longer than planned?
The timeline moves by the same amount, and we confirm the new launch date in writing. We would rather be clear than surprise you in launch week.
Can we start before all our content is ready?
Yes. We can design with draft content, but final content is needed before the Engineer stage so we can build, test and launch on time.
How do payments fit into the process?
50% upfront to start the project and 50% on completion, invoiced in your local currency.
What do you need from me before we start?
Your goals, any brand assets, access to your existing website and accounts, and a decision-maker for approvals.
